Visitors will be enchanted by this lovingly decorated Christmas marktet with its charming chalets and high-quality products in the heart of the Cathedral city. A nostalgic flavour is provided by decorative plates with illustrations of the Christmas markets with their long traditions, which are sold there alongside many other artisans’ products.
Angels dressed in white and sprinkling glitter powder
Here, the mulled wine stands have evocative sounding names like “Cloud Nine“ and “Gabriel’s“, and they all have delicious mulled wine, egg punch and hot chocolate on offer. Many locals come here after work to take in the atmosphere and sip at a warm drink.
The angels are one of the highlights here, particularly for children. Dressed in white and sprinkling glitter powder, they waft through the alleys spreading Christmas cheer. Once a week, Santa Claus, together with an angel, makes his grand entry onto Neumarkt on horseback.
